When Glastonbury's Green Fields turn RED

Got past the Blackmore and Sparkford Vale foxhunt thugs on the gate and think you've found Avalon...

Those of you seeking sanctuary in the greenfields of Glastonbury, should spare a thought for the foxes and hares chased and killed on Michael Eavis' land over the years.

Portrayed in the media as the champion of all things green, what never gets mentioned is his allowing of the local fox and hare hunts over his land when the pesky cameras are not around

So much has been written about him handing the running over to the next generation, wouldn't it be nice if little Emily put that tree-hugging / green / hippie / peace loving image into action and told the hunts to sling their hooks like the Eavis' do to those that can't afford a ticket to their 'green' festival?

If you have sent a membership request, salesgoods order or a donation by mail to us recently please be patient with our response as we rely on a forwarding system to distribute paperwork to the relevant volunteers that deal with these areas and there is an inherant delay involved. This site is not administered from our office address above, so if you want leaflets or posters etc, please arrange via the telephone. We can normally answer requests for information if it doesn't appear elsewhere here, but (STUDENTS) please do check the rest of the site (e.g. this) before blindly requesting information. We do not have paid staff, and the volunteers we do have also have full time 'normal' jobs, so don't expect the impossible!

Let 'em have it!
